Murkowski and Begich Protect Eielson, Prioritize Alaska’s Military

U.S. Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich today co-sponsored an amendment to the Senate Continuing Resolution (CR) which would prohibit until 2014 any force structure adjustments which would halt the proposal to move the F-16s from Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks to Joint-Base Elmendorf Richardson (J-BER) in Anchorage.

ANCHORAGE, AK. — (APTI) — Alaska Public Telecommunications, Inc., the Anchorage-based public broadcasting outlet, is rebranding to become Alaska Public Media. The campaign launches March 18 with statewide messaging on-air and off. The brand transition will be complete in late 2013.

Coast Guard Medevacs Crewman off of F/V Stella in Shelikof Straits
