Two Kodiak Cousins Charged with 2008 Death of Justin McGriff

Two Kodiak men, 24-year-old Bradford Blondin and 25-year-old Brian Blondin were formally charged in connection with the death of 43-year-old Justin McGriff who died from injuries sustained in a hit and run on April 29th of 2008.

Japan Scrambles Fighter Jets to Intercept Chinese Surveillance Plane Near Diaoyu Islands

Eight F-15 fighters took to the skies from Japan on Thursday in response to an intrusion into their airspace by a Chinese surveillance plane flying near the disputed Diaoyu Islands. The fighters, launched by the Japanese government were joined by a launch of an E-2C "Hawkeye" observation aircraft from Okinawa.

Sacramento Man Sentenced for Drug Conspiracy in Juneau

Anchorage, Alaska – Acting U.S. Attorney Kevin Feldis announced today that Travell Demar Pinkston of Sacramento, California, was sentenced in federal court in Juneau for his role in a conspiracy to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone.
