Bristol Bay Run Harvest Exceeds 17 Million Salmon

Cold, nasty weather in Bristol Bay notwithstanding, the famed run of wild sockeye salmon has arrived and by July 9, the commercial fleet had a cumulative season harvest of more than 17 million salmon.

Body Found on Beach East of Brevig Mission Identified as Teller Man Lost During 2011 Superstorm

The body found on Sunday, July 8th, outside of Brevig Mission has been identified as that of the Teller man who went missing eight months ago.
