SEARHC to Host Special Skagway Clinics on September 13th

SKAGWAY, Aug. 22, 2012 — SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Haines Health Center Family Physician Dr. Noble Anderson, MD, and Diabetes/Elder Care Nurse Case Manager Lisa Schwartz, RN, CDE, will travel to Skagway on Thursday, Sept. 13, to provide special clinics at the Dahl Memorial Clinic.

JUNEAU, Aug. 22, 2012 — The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Ethel Lund Medical Center (ELMC) is introducing a new process called “Call In, Don’t Walk In,” to improve the quality of care for the medical center's Juneau patients. The new process launches on Monday, Sept. 10.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Concerned with low Chinook salmon returns throughout the state, the Alaska Congressional delegation yesterday wrote to Acting Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank in support of Alaska Governor Sean Parnell’s request for a disaster declaration for the Upper Cook Inlet region.

CAMP DENALI, Alaska— The Alaska Air National Guard rescued a 32-year-old German national on the Upper John River Aug. 21 after he damaged his canoe while floating the river.
