Coast Guard Suspends Search for Man Overboard South of Bethel

KODIAK, Alaska – The Coast Guard suspended the search for a fisherman who fell overboard off a 24-foot fishing vessel near Goodnews Bay 97 miles south of Bethel Monday at 4:45 p.m.

VENEZUELA-Tensions are mounting in the South American country of Venezuela as Hugo Chavez announces that he has undergone surgery to have a cancerous tumor removed in an operation that took place in Cuba. The Venezuelan president has kept a very low profile in the recent weeks since his operation.
