Decline In Gonorrhea Cases Reported In 2011

ANCHORAGE — According to information just released by the State of Alaska Section of Epidemiology, there has been a 23 percent decrease in the number of gonorrhea infections reported during the first three quarters of 2011 compared to the first three quarters of 2010.

DMV Issues Registration Extension To Soldiers

Juneau, Alaska – In honor of Alaska’s veterans, the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has coordinated efforts with Fort Wainwright and state and local law enforcement agencies in the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB) to issue registration extensions to military personnel returning from their tour of duty whose vehicle registrations may have expired during deployment.
