ALASKA-Two small planes collided mid-air over Lake Clark Pass at 2,300 feet on Sunday afternoon, but were able to land safely in Anchorage after the incident. Neither pilot saw the other until the impact was imminent. No one was injured in the accident.
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER-The 135th and final mission of the space shuttle program launched from its pad just prior to 11:30am this morning. The flight of Atlantis to the International Space Station marks the end of the 30 year program.
KODIAK, Alaska – A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew medevaced a 50-year-old man from the Seattle-based 50-foot fishing vessel Heidi Linea 218 miles southwest of Kodiak Thursday evening.
