ANCHORAGE, ALASKA-The Anchorage Police Department responded to call early this morning at 1:38 am to 1001 Boniface Parkway.

Once there, they found Daniel Workman, beaten and bleeding profusely from wounds on the front and back of his head. Workman informed the responding officers that he was homeless and had been attacked by four young men on mountain bikes.

Workman was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, there he was treated for scalp lacerations as well as broken facial bones. Although his injuries are serious, they do not appear to be life-threatening.
