In this week's Begich Minute, U.S. Sen. Mark Begich discusses his recent travels throughout Alaska where he visited Fairbanks, Copper Center, Galena, Tazlina and Anchorage. Because many Alaskans are working to fill their freezers this time of year, his discussions often focused on fish. Sen. Begich visited a fish camp in Copper Center, held a listening session on the Magnuson-Stevens Act (MSA) in Fairbanks, and honored Alaska's Katie John who was instrumental in securing subsistence rights for Alaskans.
