Alaska State Troopers have identified the body that was recovered from a Saturday morning fire at a Deshka Lake cabin.
The state Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage has identified the remains as that of 49-year-old Tari K. Flannery of Anchorage. The next of kin has been notified.
Troopers and firefighters from several fire departments responded to the blaze on Saturday morning, but the fire quickly destroyed the structure. Flannery’s body was located in the burned out cabin at about 10 am that morning.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze.
