On Wednesday, a Fairbanks woman called in and reported an assault. Alaska State Troopers investigated the incident and made an arrest in the case.

At 11:58 pm on Wednesday night, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a man dead near mile 52 of the Glenn Highway near Palmer.
Wednesday saw two searches involving the Coast Guard taking place in Alaska's waters. Reports came in of missing men in Ketchikan as well as in the area north of Unimak Pass in the Bering Sea. Both searches were suspended with no results by Wednesday evening.
