Fairbanks Man Indicted for Bank Robbery

ANCHORAGE—U.S. Attorney Karen L. Loeffler announced on Friday that Hilda Josephine Hernandez-McMullen, 47, of Anchorage, Alaska, pled guilty on Thursday to eight separate felony counts based on her role assisting others in opening bank accounts and fraudulently negotiating tax refund checks using stolen identities.
Two individuals—one a United States citizen who allegedly provided support to a foreign terrorist organization, the other wanted for his alleged role in the overseas kidnapping of an American—have been added to the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list.
PORTLAND, OR—Former Portland resident Gerardo Mosquera was convicted in the United States District Court earlier this month of stealing from a program that provides food to underprivileged children. Mosquera, 42, was convicted of two counts of theft from the program.
