Two Colleges in Alaska Take '1DayStand' Against Tobacco

State Survey Shows Significant Drop in Youth Smoking in Alaska

(ANCHORAGE) â€” The stateâ€™s health commissioner and chief medical officer announced Monday that smoking among Alaska high school students has declined 40 percent between 2007 and 2013, from 17.8 percent in 2007 to only 10.6 percent in 2013.
