Seven 2nd Marine Division Troops Killed in Live Fire Training Exercise at Hawthorne Army Depot

The Department of Defense reports that seven U.S. Marines were killed at the Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada late Monday. Several others were injured in the fatal incident that occurred during a Live Fire Training exercise.

Chemical Attack on Syrian Village Blamed on Rebels, Rebels Deny

It has been reported through the Syrian Arab News Agency today that Syrian rebels have attacked Aleppo with a chemical weapon fired from a rocket, killing at least 15 people and injuring another 86.

Alaska's Senators Ask for Clear Labeling for Frankenfish as the Salmon Continues Towards Approval

An amendment to the continuing Resolution being debated in the Senate was filed yesterday by Alaska's senators, Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich. The amendment called for clear and unquestionable labeling being placed on salmon products that have been genetically modified.
