Late Saturday night, a report of an overdue hiker went out to the Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak from the village of Akhiok, 80 miles southwest of Kodiak.

The search for the "Tonto III" reported lost since Friday ended successfully with its discovery by the Craig Harbor Master's vessel on late Saturday morning with all reporting no injuries.
