Google Driverless Car Licensed for Use on the Roads in Nevada

The state of Nevada just granted the first license for a car that drives itself. The license was granted to Google for its hands-free car.

Alaska State Troopers in King Salmon were notified of the activation of an emergency transmitter near Becharof Lake on Sunday.

Port Protection Girl Who Went Missing on Sunday Found Alive and Well

The 13-year-old girl that has been missing in the southeast community of Port Protection was found at approximately 12 noon today. It is reported that she has suffered no injuries although she was put under observation by medics aboard a Coast Guard helicopter.

Student Loan Cloture Vote Fails Along Party Lines

Today, in a 54-45 vote, the Senate rejected a motion to have legislation proceed on Student Loan interest rates. Those rates are due to increase on July 1st.
