On Monday, the Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter and crew that spent the summer months forward-deployed to Cordova, is due to be released from there and depart back to Kodiak.
Alaska State Troopers are seeking information on a hit and run accident that occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Holt Lamplight Road and Anderson Road in Nikiski.
