After receiving daily calls reporting people snagging salmon at the Channel Wayside Fishing dock next to the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery in Juneau, Wildlife Troopers set up a surveillance operation to catch the violators.
On last Friday, August 24th, at about 11:30 in the morning, the Alaska State Troopers were informed of, and responded to a burglary at a residence off of Ortner Loop in Palmer.
The search for the man reported missing on August 2oth has now been discontinued after a five day search.
The Selawik VPSO reported to Alaska State Troopers on Saturday that he had witnessed 31-year-old Leslie Jones beating his mother at their residence.
