SITKA, May 17, 2012 — The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Behavioral Health/Suicide Prevention Program will join the One People Canoe Society and other canoe teams the first week of June for a canoe journey from Kake and Angoon to Juneau for Celebration 2012.
Eleven Alaska Native/American Indian high school students from rural Alaska communities learned about health careers as they participated in the 2012 Ethel Lund Village Health Occupations Program (VHOP) on April 24-27 in Sitka.

SITKA — The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Behavioral Health Prevention and Community Family Services programs will offer a free, two-day mental health first aid course in May in the communities of Juneau, Sitka, Klawock and Kake.
