Names Of Kipnuk Couple Released In Double Village Deaths

KIPNUK, Alaska-Alaska State troopers have identified the identities of the couple found dead in their home in Kipnuk. They have been identified as Jonathan Paul, age 29, and Gina Martin, age 26. The one year old infant found at the scene was identified as the child of the couple, her name is Deann.

KIPNUK, Alaska-A death investigation is underway in the village of Kipnuk. According to Alaska State trooper reports, at approximately midnight, just before the early morning hours of December 18th, the troopers received a call from the Tribal officer in Kipnuk, reporting that the bodies of two individuals had been found at their residence.

Thomas Murray And Wise Guide Outfitters Must Answer In Court To Charges Of Scheming To Defraud And Theft

KENAI, Alaska-Today, the owner of Wise Guide Outfitters of Cooper Landing, Thomas W. Murray, is due in court to answer to the charges of Scheming to Defraud, four counts of Theft in the Second Degree, a count of Unsworn Falsification, and one count of False Information on a Fishing License.

Hr 443 Passes 407-4, Maniilaq Association To Receive Land Transfer

The House of Representatives passed H.R. 443, a piece of legislation introduced by Alaskan Congressman Don Young yesterday. This legislation directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to transfer three parcels of federal land in Kotzebue to the Maniilaq Association to expand and use for health and social services.
