Alaska State Troopers attempted to pull over a man on an off-road motorcycle on a no-bail warrant for failure to remand on charges of Eluding and Assault, but, after a chase, he successfully eluded them.

At 1 am this morning, troopers observed Brian W Berean, known to have a warrant, operating a yellow off-road motorcycle on the roadway on Shotgun Drive near Big Lake Road and attempted to pull him over.

Instead of pulling over to the patrol officers, Berean sped away, reaching speeds of 90 mph in 45 and 55 mile an hour zones. For three miles, Berean drove in and out of on-coming traffic for three miles.

At that point, troopers broke off their pursuit on Big Lake Road.
