The State Medical Examiner in Anchorage advised Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks that the death of Ronald McKnight has been deemed a homicide by their office on Wednesday.
McKnight, who was discovered deceased at a residence on Ronald Road on Thursday of last week, resulted in a death investigation by Fairbanks-based troopers and his remains were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office to determine details in his death.
Troopers are actively attempting to locate a missing green 1992 Ford truck that has a utility bed and a red truck topper. It is also been described as having a three-inch white stripe along the sides of the truck and has numerous small rusts spots. It’s license plate is reported to be JAX474. That vehicle was stolen from the residence after McKnight’s death.
