At approximately 7 am on Friday morning, calls began going in to the Alaska State Troopers reporting that a man, unknown to the various homeowners was walking into their homes in the Alyeska Drive/Sun Valley Drive area.

State Troopers, Univesity Police and Fairbanks police all immediately responded to the area in an attempt to locate the individual.

The individual, identified as 30-year-old Thomas Oates of Fairbanks, was eventually located and taken into custody on one count of Criminal Trespass I and three counts of Criminal Trespass II.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]Oates was also found to be in violation of his conditions of release in a late March DUI case.
