Glennallen-based Alaska State Troopers arrested a Fairbanks man on Warrants and Providing False Information it was revealed in the trooper dispatch.
Troopers contacted 32-year-old Fairbanks resident Dateen Arkell at a local Glennallen business at 9 pm on Thursday. When asked to provide his identity, Arkell lied to the troopers. Trooper were able to ascertain his identity, and found that Arkell was wanted on a $50,000 warrant as well as a no bail Parole Warrant.
According to court records, the Fairbanks court issued a $50,000 plus Court Approved Third Party Warrant for Arkell in early August of this year, on the original charge of Felony Assault that he was convicted for, after trial in early 2013.
Arkell was transported to the Glennallen post pending arraignment.
