Fairbanks firefighters have announced that the man sought after turning over in a raft with three others, has been found in the Chena River.

The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Willie Chambers of Fairbanks.

Chamber’s remains were located approximately 75-feet from the Peger Road Bridge on Tuesday night.

The three other occupants of the ill-fated raft were able to swim safely to shore after the capsizing.
