FAIRBANKS, Alaska-Alaska State troopers report that they were contacted yesterday evening, January 25th , at approximately 7:30 in the evening. The caller reported shots fired at a residence on Wallace Court.

Troopers responded and initiated an investigation, troopers found that a suspect had fled the scene in a vehicle prior to the troopers arrival.

Further investigation identified a suspect. It was determined that Diana Andre, age 25 of NorthPole, had arrived at the scene, her former boyfreind’s residence, and attempted to kick down the door. It was reported that she was intoxicated at the time. After her unsuccessful attempt to kick down the door of the residence, Andre produced a firearm and fired several rounds into the air.

Soon after, Alaska State troopers located Andre at a nearby residence. The weapon that she had fired into the air was also located.

Andre was arrested at that time and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center where she was remanded on charges of Criminal Trespass in the First Degree(DV), and two counts of Misconduct Involvving a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
