During a search warrant service at a Wasilla residence on Saturday evening, troopers would find a felon in possession of drugs and firearms, trooper dispatch revealed on Saturday.
Alaska State Troopers with the Criminal Suppression Unit in Wasilla went to a residence on West Stacy Street in Wasilla and served a search warrant. During the warrant process, troopers would contact 28-year-old Joshua Jensen at the residence.
During their investigation at the scene, troopers would find that Jensen was in possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine. They would also find that he was in possession of several handguns.
Further investigation would find that Jensen was a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing a concealable firearm.
Jensen was subsequently placed under arrest for Misconduct Involving Weapons II and III as well as Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances IV.
The suspect was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded and held without bail.
