United States Marshals,State troopers, and Homer police took two people in custody late Monday night in Homer, Alaska.
Robert Davis, age 43, and Cheri Kuss, age 37, of Atwater Township, Ohio, were arrested and taken into custody in the southern Kenai peninsula community of Homer just before midnight on Monday. They were being sought by U.S. Marshals since they jumped bail in Portage county after being arrested there on drug charges.
The arrest in Ohio was part of a month long investigation into illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine in Portage county. They were arrested along with four others in January for running a meth lab.They left Ohio for the state of Alaska after posting bail on the drug charges. Kuss paid 10% of her bail to be released. Kuss’s bail was 10% of $25,000. Davis paid $1,000 to get out of custody.
The couple was under suveillance throughout the day in Homer before authorities moved in to take them into custody later that night just before midnight.
They were booked into the Homer jail.
