More information is coming out from a double murder that took place in December of last year, where a freshly discharged soldier and his wife were brutally murdered on the outskirts of the sprawling Fort Stewart complex.
It was on December 4th of 2011, according to the confession of one of four active duty soldiers accused of the crime, that Michael Roark and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Tiffany York, were coaxed into the woods near the Fort Stewart complex with the thought that they were going target shooting. Instead, when they arrived, York was shot in the head as she exited their vehicle.
Shortly after, Roark was made to go on his knees as he was shot twice in the head.
The killings were apparently an effort to keep a larger plot secret. A plot that had a much wider range.

According to a statement made by one of the four charged in the killing, 26-year-old Army Pfc. Michael Burnett, who pled out to manslaughter charges as well as illegal gang activity and other charges, the killings were ordered by Pvt Isaac Aguigui. Burnett pled to the lesser charge to avoid the possibility of the death sentence. Burnett also agreed to tell authorities about the plot and to testify against his co-conspirators.
Aguigui, who is the founder of the militia group F.E.A.R., Forever Enduring Always ready, ordered the killings in order to keep 19-year-old Roark from talking about the group’s plot that Roark was a part of and for apparently stealing money from Aguigui or the group. Roark had been discharged from the Army two days before.
According to Burnett, the plot that the two died to keep secret included the blowing up of a Washington state dam, a poisoning of some of Washington state’s apple growing industry, the takeover of the Fort Stewart complex via the seizure of the fort’s arsenal, the bombing of the Forsyth Park fountain in Savannah, overthrow of the government and the assassination of President Obama.
In order to carry out this plot, Aguigui had bought approximately $87,000 worth of semi-automatic weapons as well as bomb-making components. Aguigui also purchased land in Washington state for his terror group. There are no details as to where the land purchased is located in Wasington state. However, Aguigui’s grandmother lives in Wenatchee.

Aguigui had access to large amounts of money from a life insurance claim over the death of his wife earlier last year. His wife, who was pregnant at the time, died from an apparent blood clot in her lung, although prosecutor Isabel Pauley of Georgia now says the death was highly suspicious. Aguigui received $500,000 from his wife’s and unborn child’s death.
Pvt Aguigui, Sgt. Anthony Peden, and Private Christopher Salmon have all been charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault and Using a Firearm While Committing a Felony. They will be in front of the court on Thursday. originally, the Army had brought charges up on the four in March of this year, but as the case progressed through civilian courts, the Army ceased pursuing the charges that they had initiated.
Aguigui, according to various sources was a Page at the 2008 Republican National Convention.
There is no information as yet to the overall size of the F.E.A.R. group.
