An arrest has been made in the Sexual Assault case in Hooper Bay that was initiated on Wednesday after troopers were notified at 11:36 am.

After flying to the remote southwest Alaska community, troopers further investigated the incident. The trooper investigation resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Arnold Davis Simon Nukusuk on charges of Sexual Assault I and Burglary I.

Following his arrest, troopers transported Nukusuk to Bethel, where he was remanded to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
