Dallas Seavey, running 9 dogs, was out of Elim six minutes after arriving, pulling back onto the trail again at 3:26 pm.
Aliy Zirkle pulled into Elim at 3:51 pm and lingered at the checkpoint for just under two hours before hitting the trail again at 5:48. She left Elim with 10 dogs.
Ramey Smyth, burning up the snow, has taken third in the race. True to his style he has moved up 27 places since Takotna. Smyth also has 10 dogs.
Aaron Burmeister is now in fourth place and left Elim at 7:25 pm.
