Dallas Seavey pulled out of Koyuk one minute after his father pulled into the checkpoint. He and his now 10-dog team departed at 8:29 am.
Dallas layed over at Koyuk for just over five hours before returning to the trail.
Aliy Zirkle followed out the younger Seavey at 8:51 am. She hung at Koyuk for about four hours before putting her 12 dogs back to work.
Five others are in Koyuk right now. Aaron Burmeister pulled in at 6:43 this morning. John Baker joined the group at 7:48. Later, Peter Kaiser made his appearance at 8:22, followed by Mitch Seavey at 8:28.
Ramey Smyth arrived at 8:37 am.
Ray Redington is somewhere close behind, he left Shaktoolik last night shortly after John Baker departed.
Behind Redington, there are five others moving towards Koyuk, but they are still quite some distance out. Those mushers are Ken Anderson, bib #39, Sigrid Ekran, bib #24, Sonny Lindner, bib #59, Michael Williams Jr, bib #51, and DeeDee Jonrowe, bib #17.
Only one other has yet to leave Shaktoolik, Michelle Phillips. Brent Sass pulled out for Koyuk at 9:40 am..
The only other musher on the trail on the coast is Paul Gebhardt, he is moving in between Unalakleet and Shaktoolik.
