Israel killed five suspected militants and destroyed a rocket launcher in a drone initiated missile attack after closing the Eilat Airport upon receiving an alert from Egyptian security services on Friday.

Egyptian Security Services alerted the Israelis of the impending rocket attack targeting the airport and further warned of attacks on aircraft utilizing shoulder-held anti-aircraft missiles Thursday prompting the closure of the facility.
The drone attack took place in the Northern Sinai Peninsula near the border with Israel. The attack was in cooperation with Egypt according to reports. Egypt has been battling Jihadists in the lawless region of the Sinai.
The airport was re-opened on Friday after the drone attack.
