While on Patrol on Boundary Road on Sunday morning, troopers observed a vehicle fishtailing on the road and spinning 360s in the freshly fallen snow as well.

Immediately after doing so, the vehicle, a gray 2000 Toyota pickup, sped away.

Troopers would later locate the vehicle and driver and identify him as 23-year-old Steven Colcord od Klawock. A check on Colcord would find that he was on conditions of release on two cases before the Craig court. His conditions were to obey all local, state and federal laws.

Troopers arrested the 23-year-old driver and transported him to Craig City Jail where he was charged with one count of Violating Conditions of Release in a Felony cae, one count of Violating Conditions of Release in a misdemeanor, and Reckless Driving. Colcords’s was remanded and his bail set at $2,500.
