Following a nine-month investigation into several burglary investigations in the Big Eddy area on the Kenai Peninsula, a Soldotna man faces at least 40 counts, troopers revealed.
Troopers and the Kenai Police Department served a search warrant at Kenai residence in March of this year and discovered stolen property taken from various burglaries that spanned October 2017 to February 2018. Troopers also discovered a vehicle stolen during the same time frame at another Kenai residence.
As the investigation continued, a suspect was developed and identified as 27-year-old David L Frost of Soldotna as the burglary suspect as well as a suspect in a theft in Kenai and a Nikiski commercial property.
Frost was charged with:
- 10 counts of Burglary I
- Six counts of Burglary II
- Two counts of Theft I
- Four counts of Theft II
- Two counts of Theft IV
- Two counts of Vehicle Theft I
- Five counts of Criminal Mischief III
- One count of Criminal IV
- Eight counts of Criminal Mischief V
A $25,000 arrest warrant was issued for Frost’s arrest and on Saturday night, Frost was pulled over in a Kenai traffic stop. When he was arrested in the multi-count warrant he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and so was additionally charged with MICS IV.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adversal-468×60″]
Frost was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility and remanded there on the charges.
