More Details Released in Sunday Oklahoma Street Homicide

 

Police in Anchorage say that they believe that the shooting homicide that took the life of a teen around midnight on Sunday morning may have been drug-related and the suspect whose name has not been released is acquainted with his victims.

When police responded to the scene on the 300-block of Oklahoma Street after receiving a report of shots fired, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and one suffering from assault injuries outside of an apartment building.

One of the gunshot victims, 19-year-old Tion Price, suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. The second male victim suffered a gunshot to his upper body and was rushed to the hospital for treatment of his life-threatening injuries. The third victim, a female suffered assault injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives investigating the case have interviewed multiple people, and continue to follow leads, but report no arrests.
