A Mountain Village man is in jail following an investigation into the furnishing of alcohol to minors in that community on Friday.
Troopers responded to the dry community of Mountain Village on Friday to investigate a report of alcohol being furnished to minors.
Troopers, after conducting their investigation, determined that 35-year-old Allan Regis of Mountain Village had made up a batch of homemade alcohol and had provided the concoction to several juveniles in the village.
As a result, Regis was arrested on charges of Alcohol Manufacture and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
During the course of the investigation, troopers would also charge Regis for Asssault IV, Reckless Endangerment and Misconduct Involving a Weapon IV x2. The circumstances for these charges are unclear at this time.
Further investigation would find that Regis had also failed to register as a sex offender and so was charged with that crime as well.
Regis was remanded to the Mountain Village Holding Facility.
