New Stuyahok Man Arrested on Felony Probation Violation after Busy Day

trooperarrestTroopers, while in New Stuyahok on Thursday, sought out New Stuyahok resident, Antone Petla, at the request of Dillingham Adult Probation. 

On Thursday, troopers responded to a report of someone kicking in a front door to a residence. Witnesses came forward and identified Petla as the subject who had kicked in the door.

As a result of the investigation, troopers forwarded charges of Criminal Mischief V and Criminal Trespass I to the District Attorney’s Office.

The Probation Office requested a Preliminary Breath Test from Petla and so troopers contacted Petla to administer the test, but, Petla attempted to flee the troopers. But, his flight was unsuccessful and he was caught and detained. 

After a short investigation, Petla was placed under arrest for Felony Probation Violation after it was determined that he was  under the influence of alcohol.

Petla was transported to Dillingham where he was remanded to the Dillingham Correctional Center.
