Soldotna- based Alaska State Troopers and Nikiski fire personnel responded after receiving a call of an accident involving a side-by-side in Nikiski on Thursday,

When troopers and Nikiski Fire responded, they found a woman, identified as 59-year-old Ann Dooley-Krogseng, unconscious and not breathing. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The trooper investigation revealed that Krogseng have been driving a side-by-side ATV in her property, when it tipped over and ejected her from the machine. When it did so, the machine came to rest on top of her, trapping her underneath.

Krogseng’s next of kin were on the scene. No foul play is suspected said troopers.
