A North Pole man was arrested and jailed last night following a report of an unresponsive male in a parked vehicle at the intersection of West Donna Marie Court and Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla at 9:45 PM on Wednesday.

Alaska State troopers responded to the scene where they contacted and roused  27-year-old Mac L Williams in his vehicle. He promptly provided a false name to the trooper, the dispatch reports.

During the investigation, Williams was found to have an outstanding warrant in the amount 0f $1,000 for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.

During his arrest, Williams attempted to throw evidence from the scene.

Williams was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and his bail was set at $5,000.
