Alaska State Troopers called off the search for 14-year-old Richard Wellfort of North Pole after he was located in Fairbanks on Wednesday.

The teen-aged boy ran away from home on June 29 of this year and was missing for almost a month and a half. Troopers posted a alert for the teenager this week and circulated a picture off Wellfort, within a day he was located.

But, the boy did not remain found for long, after being located at 6:30 pm, the teenager was on the lam again within hours.

Wellfort’s parents reported him missing once again at 10 pm Wednesday night.
