A 37-year-old Nunapitchuk man was arrested on Sexual Assault and Burglary charges on Wednesday after a 10 day Bethel Alaska State Trooper investigation in the Southwest Alaska community of Nunapitchuk.
Troopers received a sexual assault report from the village at 2:51 PM on November 7th. When they opened the investigation, they would find that Gregory Tobeluk had been involved in multiple incidences, and also found that several people had been affected over the last six months.
Tobeluk was arrested on Wednesday on a $100,000 warrant, and charged with Sexual Assault I, four counts of Sexual Assault II and three counts of Burglary I.
Troopers say that they believe that their other incidences in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta area “where Tobeluk had inappropriate and illegal contact with people,” and are asking the public with any information regarding incidences involving the suspect to contact them at the Bethel Trooper post at 907-543-2294.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
