It was on Sunday afternoon that troopers received a report of a motor vehicle collision on the Willow Creek Bridge at mile 75 of the Parks Highway.

Troopers responded to the scene, located the vehicle and contacted the occupants, at which time the the troopers say that the driver, 35-year-old Anderson Hoskins, admitted to crashing into the guardrail.

The  other person at the scene, 28-year-old Benny Mancil, admitted to being in the vehicle with Hoskins, troopers allege.

The trooper investigation revealed that both men had driven the vehicle while intoxicated.

Both men were arrested on charges. Mancil was arrested for DUI. Hoskins was arrested for Felony DUI and Driving While License Revoked.

Both men were transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where they were remanded.
