Palmer Man Who Crashed Truck into Parent’s Trailer Arrested

An early morning 911 hangup resulted in the arrest of a Palmer man early this morning in connection with another report from the same location on Saturday, troopers reported Thursday morning.

The case began on Saturday when troopers were alerted to a disturbance from a trailer on East All Elks Road in Sutton at just before 10:30 pm. Troopers responded to the call and began an investigation. The investigation revealed that 42-year-old Ray Day Jr had crashed a black Dodge pickup into the side of his parent’s trailer, then assaulted a family member before leaving on foot.

On Thursday morning, a 911 hangup originated from the same address and troopers responded to investigate. When they arrived at the trailer, AST contacted Day and was subsequently arrested on charges of Criminal Mischief III(DV) and Assault IV (DV) that arose from the Saturday incident.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adversal-468×60″]

Troopers transported Day to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, where he was remanded with no bail set.
