The Anchorage Police Department were notified yesterday morning, by 911 call, of a shooting in South Anchorage at about 11 am..

The gunman in the incident is still at large. According to the police, the suspect in the killing is a adult white male. He is between 20 and 30 years of age and stands about five-foot eight-inches tall. He was also described as having a thin build. The man was last seen wearing a green, plaid shirt and had on a dark beanie.

After the shooting, that occurred at 9150 Dewberry Street, the man ran from the tri-plex and entered a red, a Pontiac sedan. The vehicle then proceeded northbound on Dewberry at West 88th Street.
