Although they are continuing to search for the 4-year-old Kotlik boy who was last seen at a slough near his home, troopers say that the search is about to wind down with no results.
The four-year-old boy, Terrell Hunt went missing after slipping and falling into the slough while playing with his friends on May 19th. The call to the troopers went in on May 20th at 1:04 am.
An extensive search has been carried out to find the young child that has extended from the Yukon River to Norton Sound. The search has been in effect for 11 days with no further clues. The search has utilized the assistance several SAR dog teams, volunteers, troopers from Emmonak, Bethel, Anchorage and St Marys and the Kotlik Police Department.
Boat crews drug the river looking for young Terrel to no avail. The area has also been searched extensively by air with no results.
