It was revealed that troopers arrested 30-year-old Big Lake resident, Caleb Watson, on charges of “Assault I, Assault II, and multiple counts of Assault III.” Watson had been sought since the incident on Saturday, February 6th.

36-year-old Houston resident, Matthew Nelson was arrested on the same charges shortly after the two suspects went to the residence at mile 53 of the Parks Highway at the request of a third party to evict the people living at the home there. They were armed with guns and knives when they went to the residence.  During the disturbance that broke out, a 16-year-old teen was stabbed repeatedly in the head.

As the other family members fled the scene in a vehicle, one of the two suspects opened fire on the departing vehicle. No one was injured in the blast of bullets.

Troopers have not released the identity of the third person who had the two men go to the residence in an attempt to evict them.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
