During a drug investigation, Alaska State troopers from the Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team stopped a New Mexico man at the Anchorage Airport yesterday.
Officers stopped 21-year-old Enrique Lino as he was waiting to board a flight to Cordova.
The officers informed Lino that he was being detained pending an application for a search warrant.
Hearing this, Lino attempted to bolt from the authorities in an effort to escape. He was frustrated in his attempt however. Lino continued to resist the officers as they successfully detained him.
The application for the warrant was granted and issued for Lino and his baggage.
