At 3:16 pm on Tuesday, troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol-South Central Team, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was the subject of a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately) report.
The caller reported the vehicle driving erratically and the caller witnessed the driver of the vehicle texting while driving.
As a result of the report, troopers stopped the vehicle in a traffic stop. Their investigation would find that the driver was texting another person in an effort to meet up with that person in order to illegally purchase Hydrocodone.
Troopers contacted the person being texted and their investigation would find that the person, identified as 26-year-old Natasha Leachman, illegally possessed Hydrocodone pills with the intent to sell.
Leachman was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance II and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.
Leachman was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and remanded there with her bail set at $3,000.
