Early Saturday morning, at about 1:10 am, Alaska State Troopers responded to a noise disturbance near Peninsula Drive at Big Lake.
According to their report, they were called to the location because allegedly 53-year-old Joshua Jennett and 49-year-old Tammy Jennett were disturbing the peace and refused to stop.

Troopers say that when they attempted to arrest J. Jennett, he resisted arrest. While taking J. Jennett into custody, T. Jennett attempted to free J. Jennett from trooper custody and assaulted the arresting officer. T. Jennett was afterward arrested as well, she also resisted but was taken into custody.
During the scuffle, at least $200 worth of damage was done to enforcement equipment.
After the initial skirmish, state troopers were able to successfully transport both individuals to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
Joshua Jennett was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest and his bail was set at $1,000.
Tammy Jennett was charged with Assault IV, Criminal Mischief IV, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest and her bail was set at $2,500 and Court Approved Third Party.
